After more than two decades of working with dogs and cats in western medical practices, rescue shelters, and specialized holistic nutrition, our founder, Marney Prince, developed this line to offer a simple way to elevate pets’ health. Certified as a Veterinary Technician and Holistic Chef for Small Animals, she balances eastern and western healing modalities to create delicious, healing treats for pets. It is her passion to help pets and her ability to heal through nutrition is her greatest strength.
Our Life in Nature
Surrounded by the San Juan Mountains of Colorado, Marney enjoys mountain life with her sons, rescue dogs and cat. This environment also influences how My Pup’s Remedy views animal welfare and sourcing our proteins. We believe that all animals, even those meant for harvest, should receive humane treatment throughout their lives. We support local, small farms and we utilize hearts, lungs, feet and livers, which often get discarded. These organs offer excellent nutrition and honor using the whole animal.
It is our hope that we can make a difference by improving the lives of animals, whether they are our pets living better or respecting the lives of the proteins we utilize, we honor and care for all of them.
